The open-back DT 900 PRO X studio headphones, launched by the long-established, Heilbronn-based company, are set to usher in a new era. The STELLAR.45 sound transducer, developed and produced in Heilbronn, Germany, delivers the proven beyerdynamic sound at previously unattained levels of studio-headphones-class performance. This is due to the neodymium ring magnet and copper-clad high-tech wire, which offer a unique trade-off between electrical conductivity and wire weight. Combined with the newly developed three-layer speaker diaphragm featuring an integrated damping layer, this has created a highly efficient driver system that performs superbly on all playback devices.
The innovative membrane structure controls the axial motion of the voice coil and ensures that it remains securely positioned in the magnet gap even during high oscillations, resulting in a vast and natural frequency response. The DT 900 PRO X features an open-back design, making it ideal for critical listening, mixing, and mastering, with a 48-ohm impedance suitable for a wide range of applications on all devices.
The headphones boast a rugged spring steel headband construction, soft and replaceable ear pads and headband pad, and a single-sided detachable cable with a gold-plated mini stereo jack connector (3.5 mm) and a 1/4" adapter (6.35 mm).
